Annette Sym - Executive Producer!

MIND FIRE. For the first time ever, Annette Sym has taken the role as Executive Producer of an Australian feature film.

Mind Fire is Mytrletown Films' first feature film, written by Tam Sainsbury (director & co-producer) and Gareth Lee (director of photography & co-producer) and featuring veteran Australian A-list actors Conrad Colby, Rowena Wallace, Peter Sumner, Lara Cox, Kym Jackson, Jeff Gannon and Greg Hatton is currently in production on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia.

Mind Fire is a psychological thriller involving a group of medical research scientists invited to study a gene in a rare strain of fire ants that could hold the key to human longevity. But a more sinister plot leads to murder and revelations about the mind-altering abilities of a genius scientist.

When Annette heard about Mind Fire she knew that she wanted to be a part of this very exciting project. The team is professional, passionate and committed to producing a quality feature film and she has no doubt that they are making film history on the Sunshine Coast with the first ever full length feature being completely produced in her home town. As Executive Producer she is thrilled with the talent of both the actors and crew and feels honored to be involved in this amazing production. As an entrepreneur she prides herself for thinking outside of the box and encouraging new opportunities and, even though she never saw herself in the role of Executive Producer, after reading the script and lengthy discussions with Gareth, Tam and Andrew she knew that she wanted to help them to fulfill their dream.
